The sandy beach and guarded swimming area at Pogoria III reservoir in Dąbrowa Górnicza is a popular place for water relaxation during summer days for residents of Upper Silesia. Pogoria III is the third of four lakes in the Dąbrowskie Lake District, created by flooding sand mine pits. It is newer and definitely the most popular among beachgoers and families with children.

A unique attraction of Pogoria III is the wooden pier with a covered mini observation tower overlooking the lake.

Around the Pogoria III reservoir runs a picturesque asphalt walking and cycling path. The shoreline length is 6 km, allowing for long walks and bike rides with a view of the water. There are also many benches to rest on. Along the route, there are many trees providing blissful shade and coolness on a hot summer day. Along the path, there are numerous viewpoints offering beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding area.

A walking path suitable for strollers and bikes leads to the neighboring reservoir and its scenic pier. Pogoria II reservoir is the smallest of the Pogoria reservoirs and the most undeveloped and natural - great for nature lovers.
