Grzebień, 679 meters above sea level, is a small but very scenic and easily accessible peak located in the northern part of Rabka-Zdrój. The black tourist trail passes through Grzebień, connecting the spa center with Rabka Zaryte.

How to get to Grzebień?

The black tourist trail goes through the Grzebień peak. You can start from Rabka-Zdrój (this way is faster and more comfortable - wide gravel road) or from Rabka Zaryte (easier parking, but a longer walk through the forest).

  • From Rabka-Zdrój center via the black trail: 3 km, 150 meters elevation gain, 1 hour one way. The route is sunny, on dirt roads.
  • From Rabka-Zdrój center via the blue trail + dirt road: 3 km, 180 meters elevation gain, 1 hour one way. The route is sunny, on dirt roads.
  • From Rabka Zaryte via the black trail: 2 km, 220 meters elevation gain, 1 hour one way. The route is through the forest, in the shade.
  • From Rabka Zaryte via the blue trail + dirt road: 3 km, 230 meters elevation gain, 1 hour 15 minutes one way. The route is mainly through the forest, in the shade.

Can you go to Grzebień with a stroller?

Can you go to Grzebień with a baby stroller? Yes, but only from Rabka-Zdrój. The road is not designed for strollers, but if you have an all-terrain stroller with big wheels, you can do it! You can choose the black trail (described above) or the blue trail from Słoneczna Street, then turn onto an unmarked but wide and comfortable gravel road - straight to the meadows on Grzebień.

While the northern slopes of Grzebień are forested, the southern side offers beautiful scenic meadows. From the south, you can see the entire Gorce mountains "like in the palm of your hand", to the right the Tatra mountains, and to the left, in the east: Beskid Wyspowy.

To the north of the Grzebień peak, just under the forest, you will also find a small clearing with a view to the northeast:
