Waterfall in the Small Beskids?

The most beautiful waterfall in the Small Beskids is hidden in the forests on the southern slopes of Smrekowica. It's the Dusiołek Waterfall on the Dusica Stream. You will find it just below the famous Komoniecki Grotto - from which a small waterfall also flows!

Zaskalnik Waterfall in the Sądecki Beskids

The most famous waterfall in the Sądecki Beskids is located near the spa town of Szczawnica, in the Sewerynówka district. Next to the waterfall runs the blue trail to Przehyba (Szczawnica - Rytro).

Waterfalls in the Low Beskids

The Low Beskids hide many charming corners. Are there waterfalls among them? Of course!

Magura Waterfall

Unassuming, yet the highest waterfall in the Low Beskids is located along the nature trail in Folusz. Unfortunately, during drought and prolonged heat, there will be very little water here... It is definitely better to visit this place after heavy rains! Along the way, an additional attraction - the beautiful Diabli Kamień rock outcrop.

  • access via a forest path, about 2 km from the parking lot in Folusz
  • the path is located in the Magura National Park, so there is a ban on entry with dogs and a requirement to purchase a park entry ticket

Waterfall in Wisłoczek

At the northeastern edge of the Low Beskids (actually already in the Bukowskie Foothills) there is another noteworthy waterfall. The waterfall on the Wisłoczek, right next to the seasonal SKPB tent base from Rzeszów, is worth visiting, for example, during a trip to the nearby Wisłok Gorge in Rudawka Rymanowska. It is also well known to hikers traveling the Main Beskid Trail (the red trail passes by the footbridge right next to the waterfall).

PS. Witch's Waterfall in Ciężkowice

Not in the Beskids, but in the Ciężkowice Foothills, there is a very delicate but very high Witch's Waterfall, also known as the Ciężkowice Waterfall! To reach the gorge where the waterfall is located, you have to descend a steep slope and "forest stairs".
